2.The second largest consumer use is as an antifreeze agent, replacing ethylene glycol for antifreeze aircraft and as a coolant in food.

3.A large amount of propylene glycol is used to produce plasticizers and hydraulic brake fluids.

4.Can be used as a non-ionic detergent and as a moisturizer in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, animal food, and tobacco industries.

5.In addition, propylene glycol is also a high-performance solvent that can be used for printing inks and epoxy resins.
